yeah, i am pretty sure you could slow it down, but I dont have any programs to do that with....

U can use adobe audition or the free alternative audacity. In audition the effect is called stretch, in audacity the effect is called change speed.

Do these Nextel files still work? I can place them on the phone but they don't change from my current default Verizon tone??

Where are you placing them on your phone?

I'm sure it has to be in a sounds/ringtones folder if you haven't done so yet.
