Changing colors on Verizon Htc Touch Pro

I have a Verizon Htc touch pro (xv6850). I am pretty new to these types of phones. i am curious if there is a way to change that red color on the today screen. i am looking to make my screens look similar to the black and white colors on the Sprint Htc touch pro. Any idea? Please give me simple directions if anyone has.
