I'm sure the answer is contained somewhere in the last 149 pages but alas, I have yet to find it.

Here is the problem-----> Missing signal strength bars and data arrows...in place of it is a white box with a little x at the top left. If I turn data connection off, I see a blue earth symbol.

Here is what I did-------> Installed sdkcerts.cab, installed battery driver and installed Taskbar2 (from page one of this thread)

next I used total comander to rename CDMA_RSSI_PPC.ddl to the same with the .bak extention.

Then I downloaded the new CDMA_RSSI_PPC.ddl from this thread and moved it into the windows directory, soft reset, navigate back to windows and deleted the file with the .bak extention.

soft reset again and the problem is obvious. All the other icons are working fine including wi-fi symbol, missed alerts etc etc....just the signal strength/data symbol UNLESS data is off...then its a blue earth...

Anyone know what I missed/did wrong?

Thanks in advance
-Tom

Sprint TP2
I have the same problem and would appreciate some help. Thanks! Sprint TP2
EDIT: Solved the problem, I think it was caused because I didn't have a SIM card. Got one from Sprint and the icons now work.

Re: Custom Taskbar

I really like your taskbars Tsowen, but everytime I install one it breaks the single volume setting and reverts to dual volumes for both system and ring. I prefer to have the single volume, is there anything you can do or tell me to make this possible with your taskbar?

Thanks

Turn off TF3D, go to \Windows with TotalCommander and delete HTCVolumeControl.dll, HTCLTB.png and HTCLTB_320x240.png. Start TF3D.

After installing the taskbar? because it won't let me delete them without the taskbar installed.

Re: Custom Taskbar

I installed Taskbar 6V2.1 non-lite version. Is there a way to enable TF3D Start Menu or is the Lite version the only way to go? I like the battery meter on the non-lite version.

What exactly does this cab do? I dont want to install it without knowing what it does. I am using a verizon Omnia I910 with a custom 6.5 Rom that came with a custom taskbar but i just dont like it. I have a black taskbar and was looking for icons that look Metallic.
