SprintFLO v0.22 Diamond Theme for PocketCM 0.27

Hi all,

I've been a long time lurker and learned so much on this forum, but always been afraid of posting because I didn't want to get too addicted. Since I navigate my way towards this page and XDA about 20 times a day anyway, I thought I might as well start posting too. What better way to pop my posting cherry than to make a contribution.

One of my favorite programs on my mogul was PocketCM. When I bought my diamond, I couldn't get any of my favorite skins to run correctly and I was having a hard time finding VGA compatible themes that i liked. So I decided to create my own.

If you are like me and enjoy the stock sprint theme (minus the clock, what were they thinking!?) you will appreciate this.

This theme is no longer VGA only! QVGA support now added! WVGA Support has been added!

Install:
  1. You need PocketCM .27, you can download it here.
  2. Extract the contents of the SprintFLOv0.22.zip file into \Program Files\PocketCM. This should create a folder called SprintFLO and SprintFLO.zip. (The image files are extracted to the folder for better performance)
  3. Run PocketCM, choose SprintFlo theme in options and enjoy!

v0.22 for PocketCM 0.27 [12-11-08]:
-added wvga support
-some minor graphics gliches fixed
-removed some redundancy in code

v0.21 for PocketCM 0.27 [12-10-08:
-some graphics updates
-re compressed graphics for faster loading
-some minor bug fixes

v0.2 for PocketCM 0.27 [12-9-08]:
-landscape mode now supported
-Enhancements for QVGA
-Fixed red screen when exit notes
-Fixed ghosted back button
-Fixed position of contact picture in landscape
-Gold scroll bars
-Completely revamped setup.ini / code cleanup
-Semi-transparent phonepad
-Many other minor bugs fixed, too many to list!

v0.1 for PocketCM 0.27 [12-6-08]:
-Initial creation of images.
-Compressed Images *decreased load time*
-Moved images to folder instead of zip.
-Text dependent SMS Bubbles size.
-Original white manila background for edit menus.
-QVGA support added 12-7-08

Todo List:
-new sms bubble graphics
-better development notes
-more code cleanup
-many more bugs / glitches

This has been tested and working on my Diamond and Pro. The QVGA has been tested on a Sprint Mogul. The WVGA has been tested on a device emulator.

Please leave feedback of any bugs, quirks, glitches you may find.

When leaving feedback please tell me what device you have, what version of Windows Mobile/Custom rom you are using and any other relevant info. A screenshot, if possible would help out a lot too!

Known Bugs:
*fixed*-As of right now Landscape is not functional.
*fixed*-The back button sometimes makes a ghost of itself at the top, I'm looking into it.
-Sometimes the it's hard to minimize by clicking the battery, not sure if this one is the skin or the program.
-New contact from sms - if you try to create a new contatct from a sms, when you click the new contact button the program exits.
-SMS bubble alignment in QVGA? - still need more feedback and a screenshot if possible
-Some minor graphical issues

Many thanks are due.
First thanks to TENE for creating PocketCM!
Also thanks to Torx, brambk, ExtraDuckSauce, Anja31, Olioaglio, lukyMat5, lightbiter, YBLaze8, DaveHutch, DvTonder and don_pipo. Without their example, creation of this theme could not have taken place.

Decided to convert to QVGA. It was much easier than I thought it would be to convert. The diamond style fonts I used did not show up well at all so I changed to a more QVGA friendly font. Made a few other changes to the placement of graphics. Compressed the files down even more which makes the theme very snappy, it pops up right away.

Check the first post for the download.

Enjoy!!
