having problem playing nes roms on pocketnesterplus

can someone help me....every time i go to open a rom it opens for like 5 seconds and its gray on the top and all messed up on the bottom....then the program just closes

well, i am not much help, but i am running into the exact same issue. did you ever find a fix?
