Wink My first impression of the EVO (not activated using WIFI) coming from the TP2

The day I ordered an EVO I found out that my SERO plan could take it if I wait till OCT. So i'll return it and see what comes out around OCT.

What did I think of it? i'm coming from windows mobile 6.5 with HTC improvements (as well as a custom rom)

1) I really miss the X button that you can hold and it will shut down the specific program. plus the little pull down on the main screen where you can shut down unused programs
2) I miss being able to quickly check all my emails with a few screen swipes
3) strangely enough the on screen keyboard (resistive screen) on the touch pro 2 is better. It really annoys me that if i already touched a key on the screen it won't register it but the one next to it if i moved my finger a little (as i brush off to press the next button).
4) I don't like the fact that you can't select where you store your media and it just searches the entire SD Card
5) SNOOZE!!! i miss the different snooze options.
6) I think the icons should be closer to each other, so much space wasted.
7) The stupid camera lens sticking out really bothers me, i know its a matter of time for it to either crack or scratch.
No way to just shut down the cellular (yes i know there's an app for plane mode + wifi)
9) There is no easy way to customize the lock screen (to show agenda etc)
10) The camera is really sub par.
11) Very little internal storage space. WHY ?!

Pros:

1) It's much faster than my old TP2.
2) Marketplace for apps
3) Front camera. I can see it useful
4) Better integration with Google services, navi, cal, etc...
5) Thiner and lighter.
6) I like the bigger screen.
