Indicator lights?

Having a problem turning my phone on. When I plug it into a wall without a battery the LED light turns red. But when I plug the battery in it flashes both red and green.

Please note that the phone was dropped in water however it was given 3 days to dry out. I also can't seem to turn on the phone without the battery in the device.

Is there possibly an issue and I am saved because its fixable. Or do I have a paper weight now?

Re: Indicator lights?

Maybe your battery is toast. I have a dead battery which does the same.

By any chance did you replace that battery? OEM or remake? I saw some on ebay but I didn't want to make the jump without making sure that they would work. Some of them didn't even look like the original. Does the metal on the battery (which I assume touches the metal on the phone) play a significant role in anything?

The one that died was a replacement. My original is still going strong... I think I overcharged the replacement battery one night...

The replacements DO work, but you'd be 100% completely safe by ordering another oem..
