Re: Treo Pro as Flash Drive

I believe this is what you want - I've used it in the past and am pretty happy with it....

http://www.softick.com/pocket-pc/cardexport2/

Biggest pain in the *** I've run into though: Anything you find out there isnt really using the Mass Storage device protocol (dunno the technical name for it) that you see with flash drives and card readers, and instead just using the slow as b*lls ActiveSync protocol to "fake" it to your OS.

Oh well. Good luck - hope that helped

Re: Treo Pro as Flash Drive

It's probably faster to pull the microsd card out and put it in your reader, it's slow going over usb and activesync and then the phone processing it, zzzzz.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile 6.0) Sprint Treo850e)

I second the CardExport recomendation. Works well for me. Seems as fast as any of my usb flash drives but I must admit I've never raced them.

Bought it from treonauts and they send me email whenever there is an update available. I think that is pretty cool.

Re: Treo Pro as Flash Drive

try http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=337877 #4, that worked fine on my titan, but haven't tried it on my Treo Pro though. But yes, agreed with the post above just take the card out and use a card reader, it'll be much faster and probably less chance of corrupt transfers.
