Win Mobile 6.5 on Treo Pro???

Folks, i'm not completely new to all of this but i keep hearing about 6.5 coming out Oct 6th on any new phones, my question is can we, with older windows mobile phones, upgrade to Win Mobile 6.5 from 6.1 when its released?

Thanks for the replys folks, i wasnt sure if it would work on the Treo Pro or even be available for installation on it.

Doubt it will be a factory/carrier upgrade however once the unlocker is finialized 6.5 versions will start showing up pluss so much more (hopefully). And I have a feeling this community will come through!!

I sure hope that is the case. Everything i've seen and read about 6.5 will be quite an upgrade from 6.1.

I was on the phone with a Palm Tech Support agent, and the best I could understand through the language barrier is that Palm is testing a WM 6.5 upgrade for the Treo Pro, but they are still having some problems. For what it is worth.

6.5 on the Treo is iffy.

Sure hope that unlocker gets released soon, kinda getting bored with my Treo Pro.
