Call history - changing the default view

I'm interested in any hack/tweak to change the default view of the call history within the phone app, from 'calls & contacts' to 'speed dials.' I can change it via a menu shortcut, but I have to do it every time I go to call history & it's a pain since it's not a permanent change.
