Did wmwifirouter 1.50 scrouge up the backlight and screen go blank after 10 sec?

I just want to put it out there since I am not getting any support from wmwifirouter.

OK, I install the new 1.50 version and it has scrouge up my backlight. Now no matter what I did, it will just go blank in 10 sec. The backlight didnt even come up for at least 30 sec.

I had to hard reset my phone 3x yesterday before I found out and now I am back on 1.25 and no problem.

I need to have my phone screen on when I use the GPS and the new version just doesnt let it on.

Did this happen to you on your Pro?

I'm having similar issues. For me what's happening is screensaver comes on way too soon and now hitting the top power button doesn't bring today screen back. I have to hit palm button a couple of times for today screen to come back so I can use the phone. I haven't tried it yet, but will try uninstalling wmwifirouter 1.50 and see what happens. That program works great on my TouchPro however.

They have fix this problem. They email me this morning. You have to log into your account to get the latest 1.52 version.

I am using it now and now my Treo Pro is behaving normal.

I think you've hit the nail on the head.

I never had any backlight problems until I tried WMWiFiRouter.

Thanks for the info. I was having the same problem and it was driving me crazy. I was just about ready to go through the hard reset ordeal, but I grabbed 1.52 and it fixed the problem.

chong67: thanks for clearly identifying that it was wmwifirouter, I sent an email to Jorrit (the creator of the app) a few hours back, tell him he clearly needs to take responsibility for all these upset people who have experienced the 30 sec problem. there are actually people that returned their phones to their carriers, thinking the device was bad!
