GPS Enhacement/solutions?

Are there any compatible with the Treo Pro?



Also is there any special setup for the GPS to work on the palm treo pro?


Because I just cannot get it to work on google maps (its the only app that I have tried so far).


Any suggestions guys? I have already lookd for information on here but theres not much about gps means on the Treo Pro.



I think its an awesome handset, and as many have already said, I'm not going to miss my Touch Pro, but... if I cannot link to any gps satellites its useless for me.

I am using TomTom7 with my treo pro, it is working fine for me, and is able to get about 8 sat. in under 30 seconds on a cold start.

Upgraded to 1.04 rom and its working now.


I don't know if its related to the rom update, but now it works hehe.

Anybody using livesearch? It's pretty much the best thing I have on my Touch right now and I'm waiting on my Treo Pro to get here

Google maps works well too, but it seems to do slightly different things than live search, so i have both.

I am actually thinking of getting rid of Google Maps and Live Search, TT7 fixes the only reason I kept them around, getting phone numbers for POI's
