i bought mine from cellularphone depot..its listed as non refurb. i hope i didnt make a bad choice. its on its way here.

To check the status when you receive the phone do the following ##786#... it will tell you if the phone is a refurb...

I bought mine used. it's the cheapest way into one and I haven't had a problem that wasn't easily solved with any of my other used phones

Polo i have a friend that purchased his from cellularphonedepot and it was brand spanking new so you should be good to go. I grabbed mine on eBay also, $168 shipped, brand new non refurb. I just activated it yesterday and so far love it, only thing is im not that good of a WM user yet so im on the fence on whether to do the upgrade yet. Is the process hard to do at all??

I checked everything out today. for $135 shipped I got a non-refurb that has 1.04!!! w00t!!

Could someone explain what exactly the 1.04 upgrade gives you that isnt there already with 1.03?

99.9% are refurbs, even though they say otherwise.

you cant get a new retail phone for the eBay price, the market is driven down wayy to much. (there are no laws against selling refurbs as new on the internet, and ebay turns its head)

OMG, the process is as simple as plugging in to PC, running activesync on PC, doubleclick the .exe file and minutes later it's all done. Trust me, it was a lot easier than my *first* time (lasted longer too) !.

...isnt this the point of ebay?
People who buy from there and are not completely oblivious people will know that there's a slight risk in buying off eBay. The savvy ones know what to look for also, so its not that serious...its an online marketplace, for a reason.

AAANYWAYS, NOONE has any input as to what the advantage of 1.04 is?
fix the radio issues? better signal, stronger battery? anything?
