Remove Wireless Carrier (Sprint) Icon from Today screen

OK so I searched the forums and got nothing so here goes:

I have a Treo 850 Pro and I want to remove the Sprint logo (with Wifi & BT logos) from my Today screen... (I had a Treo 700wx and I was able to do this before with reg-edit so I know that it can be done, but I forget how... )

so could anyone tell me how?

a simple regedit will take care of that.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\"Wireless"
change the value of 'Enabled' to 0

wow, I knew it was easy... just forgot which reg folder it was in, thanks a lot.

Any idea how to remove the scroll bar from the today screen? I get it with Dwizzy's Leopard theme & Iphone theme...?

I am extremely new to this and this site was recommended so hopefully i can ask this REALLY dumb questions...where do i go to start these instructions you left/

You need a registry editor (Resco, etc.)...from there edit the key he specified to 0. That will remove the wireless plugin from the today screen after a soft reset. Google search for a registry editor for PPC. Resco is what I use and it has a 7 day trial from their site:

There is a cab file that allows you to remove the wireless controller/Sprint today plugin, It let's you select it or deselect just like any of your other plugin's on the today screen.
