Re: WME: Hands on + Pics (Sprint TP)
Nice write-up Mal. I'm sure some of us would be willing to "liberate" that phone from you when you're done playing with it.
And hey...get rid of those annoying pop-ups at WME...nomesayin'! late, Coz EDIT: what's real-world battery life like...and how's the keyboard?

re: battery life, still testing and will do some "stress tests" this weekend, but so far, so good. I mean, a 1500mah battery is a nice boost from 1150mah re: keyboard, I liked the Centro so I'm more tolerant of the Pro's which is nearly the same but wider spaced. It's not as good as the 800w's (arguably the best Treo KB ever), but I find it okay. Really, it'll come to personal preference. Quote:
Some other thought: call quality is very good and it has TRUE MMS on it, meaning pics and vids are inline with the message. It's a new ArcSoft app on their and it's truly impressive. |

Re: WME: Hands on + Pics (Sprint TP)
Will work on a ROM dump today for Ebag, who may be able to rip ArcSoft out.
Will also try to get some pics of the MMS system later for you guys btw, yeah BB is not suppose to sell them but not everyone gets/heeds those memos, lol |

Re: WME: Hands on + Pics (Sprint TP)
Flash and IE6
As people probably know, this is the first phone to have IE6 built in with flash support. It even comes with YouTube as a link/favorite. So how's it work? Very well. You just go to YouTube and the flash player is there with on screen controls. Quality is quite good and very usable. I'm actually kinda impressed. I'll be doing an in depth write up on IE6 for WME later on, but here are 2 shots of YouTube running flash right in the browser (full screen mode). |
