HTC Audio Manager v2.2.1822.3925 & Audio Booster v2.1.1818.1827 (320*320 port) +Panel

I got sick enough of windows media player not reading my ID3 tags properly and missign some of the songs in my library to try and do somethign about it.

I found that HTC audio mangaer cab nbe integrated into titanium the same way media player is in this thread here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...highlight=1822

I tried to install it on my treo pro and no luck.

So I found this qvga version of audio manager here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...30#post3834730

I edited 2 XML files and 9 graphics files. Which may not seam like much but trust me it took alot of tweeking.

I now have a working copy of audio manager on my treo pro.

I like it better for making playlists, having a dynamicly updating library and simpler controls, as well as integration of mp3 trimmer and ringtone assignment from your mp3 library.

Also attached is HTC Audio Booster this is a great graphic equalizer (and is integrated into audio manager) for when your headphones or a speakersystem are plugged in.

Enjoy.

P.S. Next step I'm working on now is integrating/adapting a titanium panel.

Re: HTC Audio Manager v2.2.1822.3925 (320 X 320 port)

Ok here are some resources I've found to put toward getting a working titanium panel:

Here is a link to the T-mobile Dash rom where the stock HTC audio manager plugin is located (NOTE I am not sure which version of audio mangaer this rom was using, if its not 2.2 then it probably won't work)
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?yz5jizwoemd

I found that rom dump here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550863
after being linked in from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=554432&highlight=audio+manager

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.ppckitchen.org/forums/loc...N&pp=10&page=2 <- titanium panels oem including one for audio manger
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is a link to a cab for an HTCMusic Audio Manager panel. I installed this and it showed the name of the titanium panel in home screen customizer but did not show the panel in titanium.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=514637

I'm guessing this happens because hte installer doesn't have a default for 320*320 in it

Re: HTC Audio Manager v2.2.1822.3925 (320 X 320 port)

I tried editign the audio booster for 320 320 but I can't get the sliders to work, I've got the images and xml spacing streched but that doesn't really matter if the stuff in the middle own't show up. You can use the dpad to customize the equalizer though.

Re: HTC Audio Manager v2.2.1822.3925 (320 X 320 port)

After doing some research here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=509492

I was able to adapt the plugin installer found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=514637

I added a section to the default.plg file to include a 320*320 resolution option on install and bam, audio booster, audio manager and titanium panel rocking on the palm treo pro. So long media player.
