Well HTC made that for Palm, and now with HTC having their own version out (Snap/ Ozone) there was probably no room for the older Treo Pro....They are great devices and what I used when I was on Sprint....
But these really had no signs of being a Palm....Besides some cosmetics on the outside... The OS was Windows (not palm OS), and the cables were USB (like all HTC devices)...They had even dropped the popular Palm 800w messaging and went for the newer look...I imagine this device was a holdover until their Pre line came out with the newer OS... As you notice the Verizon version is very rare, so it shows it was pretty much a half a$$ launch, and only made more people interested in HTC devices rather than the new Palm line...

I finally met one other person with the Treo Pro :P... But, I recently got a Palm Pre, and it seems like I am never looking back... Although, Ive never met anyone with a Pre either, lol.

Were they popular on Bell carrier Acid??..Here, Sprint carried quite a few and so many supposed pre-release 1.03 versions...I have never seen a Verizon Treo Pro in the wild... If you search them on sites ebay/craigslist they are also very rare....

i have a treo pro. it has been end of life for a very long time. not surprised at all. its for sale if anyone makes a decent offer.

It's been end of life for a very long time for a very good reason, it was junk. Our rate of repair on those devices was crazy bad.
