Question about sprint/boost

I have a question i have a sprint palm treo pro 850 on boostmobile and for some reason i can hardly get any service in our area i have to go about 10 miles out of town to be able to use it my old phone that was on at&t could get service here just fine is there something i could do to pick up better service with boost im on there cdma network

There is Sprint Airwave but I do not know if it will work for boost mobile..you gotta test it..other option is to maybe try flashing a different radio.
