Would someone be willing to post a basic ROM that uses one of the newer flavors of 6.5? The older builds have problems with the alarm clocks (won't repeat correctly, and don't allow the use of MP3's) as well as use the 6.1 interface that isn't finger friendly.

This one is preferred without a whole lot of customizing but I'll take anything. The only one out there has problems freezing and I need something more stable.

Also, I've got $50 to anyone that can post said ROM that actually works with large (8GB) MicroSD cards and Windows Media Player. Since 6.0 and before Microsoft hasn't fixed the bug that causes songs to load slowly, switch slowly, and not pause ever few seconds to buffer.

Have you taken a look at xda-developers? There are many more GSM ROMs available there.

Maybe I'm not looking in the right place because I don't see any ROM's posted on XDA-Developer that aren't posted here (except maybe nightraven's) and no one except HeeChee seems to have a ROM newer than 21884. Heechee's ROM is unusable for me because it has issues with locking up randomly. I think he might be working on redo-ing the ROM but he has some family matters that are taking precedence.

Honestly, I really don't see the appeal of using 21884 or older when much newer packages have been released that fix many of the bugs.

i made this 28230 build ROM the only bug i noticed is the task manger overlapping the time i didn't make a thread dedicated to this ROM yet but its coming here is the link to my ROM

This should not have been moved! It is a ROM request, why would it not be in the Upgrades discussion for the Treo Pro?

TrickBiker, that file is not on my phone. I might be mistaken but I think that file is for the HTC AudioManager not the WMP
