IR Universal Remote for Treo Pro

Does anybody know an IR universal remote software that works good on the Treo Pro?

Re: IR Universal Remote for Treo Pro

The problem is the IR isn't THAT strong, youd need to have the phone way too close for it to be of any use :/

Re: IR Universal Remote for Treo Pro

And the IR 'eye' is on the side of the phone and battery life wouldn't be even as close to what a true remote would be. Go on eBay, you can get some great deals on used universal remotes that are still very powerful, like the Phillips Pronto line or Marantz RC line. If you want more hard buttons, the Logitech Harmony line is great.

Im guessing NOBODY knows ANY software. I don't care if it does not work good or not. I just thought it would be a fun to try out.

I've tried a couple that I've seen -- but they were all ancient... I think it's one of those things that developers realized wasn't worth the effort. :P

Re: IR Universal Remote for Treo Pro

I used to have one on my Axim a while back and it worked great. The only one I can think of is Novii Remote but Im not even sure if it works on the TP and it isn't free.

Ya, I tried that app, but it says it doesn't support the infrared device.

Sorry. I hate that when you ask a question and everyone answers everything but the question you asked.

I also tried a program many years ago on the Axim I had, but I think it was NoviRemote. Didn't work very well and made me decide to get a real remote instead.

Re: IR Universal Remote for Treo Pro

The only software I knew of was NoviiRemote, however it doesn't support the Qualcomm processers.

So we treo pro owers are out of luck. this was one of my killer apps on my treo 680.

Re: IR Universal Remote for Treo Pro

And here we go...

Doesnt exist a app compatible with our Treo Pro processor

And about the 'strongless' question, isnt truth. The people talking the same about my treo 650 and i havent any problem.
