Locking Data Connect
 

I am new to the Pro, centro owner gone pro. any way, I was wondering if there is a way to put a lock on the Data usage. so you have to manually turn on the data connection. I only want my daughter to use WIFI. Any help is appriciated! ;)

didn't you have to have a data plan with the phone i'm with sprint and i know they have certain plans treo pros's have to be on

i dont know about locking it out but i could try simply deleting the connection. go to start/settings/connections/manage existing then tap and hold on the #777 powervision and then hit delete. now i pretty sure certain programs will not work right without having a data connection.

AFAIK data is not required for the pro

u can block and unblock any phones internet usage via ur sprint.com account. its as easy as one click! if ATT doesnt have the same type of feature customer care can block it...or you could just switch to sprint and have 100% control. ;)

if not you might be able to delete the internet connection settings by click on start --> settings --> Connections --> Connections and just remove the internet connection from there
