6.5 ROMs in German (or other) language

Hi,

I am very interested in all of your great work regarding WM 6.5 for the Treo Pro! However, there are some 'mysteries' which I don't understand:

- what does "Sprint Treo Pro" means? I am from Germany, there is no carrier called Sprint. I purchased my Pro from Amazon Germany, no branding at all, connects to UMTS (=CDMA?), SIM from T-Mobile Germany

- does unbranded mean unlocked? Or do I have to use the unlocker software before flashing?

- Generally, I do not have problems with an English WM 6.5 but I prefer German language. So, is it difficult to translate a ROM? Can I be of any help if someone shows me how to do the translation?

Maybe there are some German Treo Pro users around here... :???:

Best regards,

treoprouser

You need to go to the GSM Treo Pro Upgrades forum to learn how to unlock your phone and use a different ROM. CDMA is not the same as UMTS. Sprint is a wireless carrier in the States.

Hope this helps,

TP
