Question HTC "Home" screen ???

Was wondering if their is a "HTC Home screen" like on the HTC Touch formatted correctly for our 800's (this would work for the "Pro" as well i believe) ??? Tried the "standard" DL that i got for the Mogul but it cuts off the #'s and adds an extra battery icon that i find annoying. Any insight or response would grealty be appreciated.

Re: HTC "Home" screen ???

Oh I know I've seen this somewhere. I'll see if I can find it and post it up. In the mean time check over at treocentral.com in the 800w, it should be there somewhere.

Re: HTC "Home" screen ???

OK so i did more and more searching and this is all i come up with. Would any of you know how to remove the "install" part of the cab that puts the extra battery icon ??? I guess i could live with the cut off #'s but that extra battery icon makes me go nutty.

Re: HTC "Home" screen ???

google HTC Home VGA and you should find it. If you switch your threaded sms to the WM version it works fine (can't get the counter to work tho)

Try the program, and see if it works....

You won't mess anything up.

Re: HTC "Home" screen ???

Like ive said this works for the 800 and Pro ... BUT it just nixs off the "notification" #s at the bottom a little. It also installs a second battery icon that i find quite annoying. If you install it you can also remove it in "remove programs" as stated before. Guess theres no way to get rid of that extra battery icon ... bummer.

go into your registry HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell
in the string ShowTitleBarClock, change from 0 to 1, then soft reset. The extra battery icon will disappear.

Hope this helps
