I've been using PAM everday since november 08'. The past 4-5 sundays however, the phone/connection seems to act strange. I will have it connected and it will run normal for 20 minutes, then i'll hear the disconnected USB sound as if i pulled the plug out but i didn't. then I have to unplug it, re-plug it to the chord and hit connect on internet sharing and it goes back on. then it will run fine for 5-10 minutes and i'll get the disconnected USB sound again and have to do this 5-10 times per hour. this happens every single sunday for the past month or so.

often after re-plugging it 5 or so times it will just stop connecting, and I'll soft reset the phone and it will keep happening. I have activesync disabled, I have full bars on the phone, the USB chord and computer usb port works perfectly fine, not sure why it does this. I don't have anything abnormal loaded on the phone just skyfire/registry editor. any ideas?? it seems to do it rarely on mon-sat, but every sunday it does it for hours on end.

Ok... Ive read every post and tried everything I can think of but I'm having some problems. If I'm posting in the wrong place because this is a FAQ... feel free to move it.

First...When I open the registry and navigate to InternetSharing, there is no extention- icshelper.dl. There is an extention with no value. I deleted it and it now says default. I did a soft reset after.

The PAM cab will not install. Ive tried on both the storage card and the device. Cab instalation was unsuccessful.

The original Internet sharing icon is on my phone.

I am connected to the pc but when I hit connect on my phone, the active sync disconnects.

I searched but i think I have multiple problems going on. Thanks for the help

Phone is sprint treo 800w
