Hi guys and girls, I recently bought a 700wx from someone and I emailed vzw if the phone could be activated. I send the ESN and they told me that it can be activated. It turned out the phone couldn't be activated due to the prevous owner account was over due (did not payed bills-I was told by vzw costumer service), when that's cleared up I can activate the phone. Is there any registry tweaks to remove owner information from the phone?Please help!

I think I found out a way to erase or modify the database, but I don't know how to deal with binary system yet. I'm messing up with device registry's but not changing them. Is there anyone who can help me.

i believe the only owner information is located under "Owner Information" When they (VZW) re-provision the phone, it should wipe everything else out....and if your still not satisfied, do a nice hard reset...that should take care of it.

nah, what he is dealing with is in Verizons database. that phone cant be activated unless the bill is paid or you clone it somehow.
