Long wait for recent calls menu?

I just recently updated to wa3. When the phone is off/idle and the screen is black, I will usually press the green call button to access my most recent call (pulls up window).

Recently, when I attempt this, it takes 5-7 sec for the call window to pop up. This even occurs sometimes when the today screen is lit up (not idle)? Usually the window would pop up right away.

I already hard resetted and reinstalled wa3--no luck. Any ideas? This is getting to me a pain because the delay makes you think you didnt press the green call button and pressing it again will call the first number on your list.
