Issues with Bluetooth

I am having an Issue with my bluetooth  , the bluetooth keeps turning its self off. After some time of inactivity the 700wx will turn bluetooth off all by its self. Is any one else having this problem :?: Is there any way to fix it :?:

well, the way i fixed this problem is go into the bluetooth properties, and click the HANDSFREE option for your headset...

Since I have done this, my bluetooth never cuts off.

My Discovery 640 will loose pairing after awhile.

The only fix I found so far was to turn on BT and pair then soft-reset. It will then hold the pairing until I turn BT off. Once I turn it off, it goes back to the same behavior.

Palm didn't do a hot job on BT, imo.

I have the nxZEN headset and it works much better on my 700wx than it did on my ppc6700.

I wont let this Bluetooth thing die. I have purchased a treo bluetooth headset to go with my 700wx as this is the one recommended by palm. On the 700wx I am still having the bluetooth turn off with out warning. That is when I go to bluetooth the check box for turn on bluetooth the check will be gone, this happens on its own. I have noticed that the problem seams to occur when I get in an area where the 700wx is jumping from roaming to Sprint, or when I am in an area of low signal. I am going to try to get Palm involved in this issue I will keep everyone posted.

I dont know why but my BT never turns off. What it could be?

well hey Big D i can tell u the main cluprit of our problems it cause palm let htc make the firmware for the 700 so i have a feeling all of our problems we had with out 6700 it will remain on the 700 but today i had the nxzen on all day it didnt disconnet once so hmmmmmmmmmmmm ..... mabey i just got lucky

I dunno, the 6700 had much better BT than the 700wx and it has nothing to do with HTC.

Case in point my 640 worked great with the 6700 and Treo 650 and yet disconnects on the 700wx.

Palm made a "custom" MS stack for their device, not HTC who just makes the hardware. Likewise, the 700P has lousy BT too: same issues.

i dunno i had many problems with my 6700 working with my nxzen headset but now with the 700wx it works great so i dunno only problem i have with 700 is no a2dp
