does your activesync appear on startup on treo?

everytime i hit the soft reset, activesync always appears on startup. activesync sometimes run in the background and i would notice the app from memory running program list. are there any ways of disabling it? i've tried creating a fake exchange name, and schedule the active sync manually, and then deleting the fake exchange name. but it has not worked. has anyone here run into that issue?

Yes this happens all the time on my treo. I just let it run, doesn't use that much memory and causes no problems. I am not sure what the advantage would be in stoping active sync from ruining. What are the advantages to you? Why don't you want active sync to run

I may be wrong, but doesn't it need to run for push e-mail to work?
