Sprint Picture Mail Help!!!

Hello.
I am new to PC Geeks.
I have a Treo 700wx with Sprint.
And as u probably know I am no longer able to send picture mail.
I understand that there is a work around of some sort.
Please help me.

I did a search and the software that I downloaded was in a format that I was unable to open.
Which is what prompted me to post.

I take it you downloaded the zip file from http://www.ppcgeeks.com/files/PPCGeeksSprintMMS.zip? If so, once downloaded to your Treo, unzip it. Then, tap on the cab file and it will magically start installing. I installed mine to my device, but you can choose to put it there or on a storage card.

I have a 6700 smart phone. I have tried downloading the MMS hack but still I am unable to send or recieve picture mail through text?????? Please help!

Also, don't double post in multiple forums. It makes us that try to help do duplicate work and gets rather annoying.

i downloaded the hack, but my phone wont let me open it. I saved it to my device n a folder, and when i go to click on it to open it. i get this message "the file PPCGeeksSprintMMS cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its componets cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file" I downloaded it several time and it says this everytime.. ive been fighting with this for 4 hours now and i have class a class tomorrow at 7am. PLEASE HELP ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!

Works fine for me on my 6800 first thing I ever download from here that and Led Killer just following the directions.

ok im at work and as of 9/30/07 i think i have a solution for the problem of sending picture messages with arcsoft software...im quite of a noob with this but i have done some hacking on the xv 6700 and the PPC 6700..i only performed this only on the xv6700 which is verizon..so here goes...lately i only been able to recieve pics from carriers but could not send them as a result i have tried different methods from updating rom, trying different mms softwar ect ok...it was a simple fix...all i did was add a new modem connection and named them exactly the same..direction below...try it and see if it works...

start menu
settings
connections...conections again
add new modem connection
name the modem connetion "my connection"
go through the process add the dail up number "#777"
leave the name and password blank
click finish

next step
ok under the connection you will see "manage exsisting connection".
click the modem tab
now in the box it will say auto select..."deselect that and select the modem connection you created name my connection"
once you did that select ok

now go to the mms program
go to menu tab..find mms configuration
go to the servers tab..
under server click "new"
fkeep all the info the same as original except the the server name and the connet via all that should be named the same thing."my connection"

and poof...you should be able to send mms pic...havent tried video yet....my instruction are kinda off cuz im at work but when i get to a computer i will go into detail....let me know if this worked

for all who is doing this...there are no registry hacks to use...the only one i used thats if you cannot edit your servr under the mms program...go to your registry editor...for those who dont have one GOOGLE IT, but yeah back to the instruction

this registry is to free up the mms server options so you can edit your server


HKLM/SOFTWARE/Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config/UI/Enable Server Edit D-word 1
if its 0 set it to 1 and you should be able to edit the server in mms.
