Diasabling ActiveSync

I had a PPC-6700 before so I used the disabling ActiveSync method from popping up all the time before. I tried using the same method, but must have done something wrong because it isn't working for me. Is it working for anyone else? And if so, could you list what you did? Thanks for the help.
