Unable to login to AIM on handheld

I am using a Treo 700 wx with software version 1.22. I downloaded a number of applications that will allow me to chat with my friends on my mobile device. I can login to Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail and ICQ. The problem is I cannot login to AIM. The chat application keeps telling me that my id or password is incorrect. Yet I will using the same login information on my desktop AIM and I can login successfully.

Has any experienced the above problem and if so how did you resolve it.

Thanks,

Vernon

Where did you get your AIM program from? There are several out there and I had to find the right one for mobile that would take my info.

Alternatively...you might look in Palringo. It offers support for Yahoo, Gmail, AIM, etc....all in one neat package.

Cough: OctroTalk: Cough. My personal favorite mobile chat program is OctroTalk. It is still in the making for the final version, but the released betas work flawlessly and if you do not have a Jabbra/Gmail account its free to set one up in a few seconds and then you are off on your way.
