GPS On Verizon treo 700wx
 

Has anybody been able to enable this feature somehow, someway. I have searches all types of forums with no end in sight. All of the edits i've seen are for the HTC phones. Oh by the way the service is Verizon. I have WM 6.1 flashed onto the phone already, if that helps. I would like to use the google maps GPS feature. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be greatfull.

You need an external GPS receiver for the Treo's.

Hey buddy, how did you install 6.1 on it anyway?
I just bought the phone on TELUS, but I want to see if I can move it up to 6.1

Thanks guys. Do these ROMs enable the GPS somehow to work with Google Maps/Google Latitude? Because this link says it's supported and I'm confused.

What they are saying is the 700WX does not have a built-in GPS receiver. As a result, if you wanna GPS, you gotta use an external GPS receiver.
