Treo 700w bricked
 

Hey all. Any one knows how to unbrik a Treo 700W? I installed Verizon WM6.1. Every thing was fine but I could not open any app because there was not enough program memory. There was only 1.8 mb left so I tried to install WM6.0. Every thing went fine as far as flashing it but when the device tried to reboot never came back on. It is dead no power, nothing. Yes the battery is fully charged. So, is there any way to bring it back to life? Thanks:silent:

NO power? Even when the power is plugged in? I woula said do a hard reset, but phoe wont come on is a big issue..

sounds like a dead battery....usually bricked will show a boot screen.

yea.. I think u may have fried the battery. I say replace it.. I think its cheap to replace.... Hell go to the sprint store.. :-)

Thak you all for replying. I have two fully charged batterys. Even when I connect the Wall charger nothing comes on. It is dead. I figured if it is bricked it should atleast show boot screen or something. I don't know how treo is but on HTC devices you get the boot screen but on this nothing, no power at all.

hmmm.. problem!!! Got insurance? If so go to ur nearest reapir center and act helpless and get another. lol.. sad to say but thats where it looks like this convo will end up goin. If u cant get the thing to come on. you cant do anything. If no power- no hard boot- no phone! IMHO

I agree with you all, if the device doesnt power on even with fully charge batteries then you have a problem, of course this can be fix by getting another device...

Yeah, last 700w i owned got wet and couldn get another one from the insurance (was a third replacement) so i had to expend some $$$ getting me the 800w retail price, of course that wasnt funny...
