Asking for opinions on problem here!!
I have a situation lately where my Treo will not recognize my SD card at times, and I have a folder or two that I can't delete, and if I even try to look at them, freeze the device.

My question is.....is my SD card going south or corrupted, or is the Treo going bad on me?

I really hope it is the card (eventhough it will still take forever to recover fully, at least all the apps/changes on the phone will be there)!!!

I look forward to any opinions, or even possible ideas as to cures!!!

If you have an extra card sitting around see if it will correctly load into your 700wx.

Can you activesync and get at those folders? Try getting at those folders through Total Commander or some other explorer.

If you can activesync try making up backup (or just copy what you need) on your pc of the card contents.

I do have another card, but not much on it, what was there seemed fine. I am going to try to copy the card to my PC tonight, and maybe trim the fat and copy it back to a 1 GB as I am only using about 1/2 a GB now. (I keep a couple spares on me!!).

I tried to use resco explorer, and that froze as well...I will try total commander though (I always forget about that one!!)!!

Sounds like a corrupted file. Do you have an SD card reader you can try on card so you bypass the Treo completely?

I am going to pick one up tonight, I have a slot for the SD card on my PC, but from the way it acts, I don't think it recognizes and more that 1GB.
