Treo cant access net thru ActiveSync 4.5 (0x80072f78)
 

I cant use internet explorer while connected to ActiveSync. How do i get the pass through connection to work?

Cant get it to work, I get this error from Pocket IE on my Treo700wx. "The page you are looking for cannot be found due to unknown error 0x80072f78."

I get that error message sometimes when I initiate PIE and it attempts to load the Palm Homepage but can't access it. That's the only time I get that message.

Connect your device to ActiveSync. From ActiveSync select File/Connection Settings and make sure "Allow USB connections" is checked. Also make sure that "this computer is connected to: internet" is selected. I actually have mine set to automatic.

Did you have Norton firewall on your PC? If so then you need to create a custom profile for activesync to get through.
