[Help for Custom ROMs] Need Verizon 700w Updater Package.
So Im looking into making custom ROMs for the Treos. It can be done, we just dont have a way as of now to flash them. Could a Verizon user that has the Treo 700W please download the updater installer from the Palm site and upload it to the ftp?

just fyi I haven't had any luck with flashing the customer ROMs yet. palms method is strange and weird....for some reason their ROMs appear to be in .ruu format. Still playing around...haven't given up yet.

Palm is all over the place with their updates. Some of them only update their end of the software, others firmware, others both. I have, at home, a firmware only update and a software only update from Palm. If you would like me to email you both PM me your email addy Mike (they're both for the 750 though)
