Thanks for all the suggestions, i am trying them now. My main issue is that i travel all over the US on a fairly regular basis and this means unless i leave the phone on "receive time from network" then i am constantly manually having to change the phone time. Although that feature only seems to work if you soft reset the phone anyway.

Trying things now, ill let you know.

This is carrier issue, in particular Sprint. If I left checked using network timezone it switched to Saskatchewan time even though I am in CDT.

Pibe38,

May be you are lucky in Florida. I am in Dallas and CDT. If I select using network timezone, it automatically goes to Saskatchewan time once the phone is soft reset or turn off and on of the radio (it does not change the timezone until reconnects with the tower), thus causes one hour shift from my office exchange server.

Jeff, your right. It's something with the carrier. I think it's random as to where it happens, and I think rare. When I fist posted about the problem here all the replys I received had to do with daylight savings time, and noone else seemed to have the problem. Anyway I have tried to talk to Sprint, but as usual rather than fix the problem they tell you to disable the time zone feature.

Weird... as Dexter said, it may be random as to where it happens... that really sucks.
