Lost ability to get email sound notification on 700w
 

Lost ability to get sound notification on email in outlook using exchange owa server. I had it a one time but then it went away, I have phonealarm working as an alternative but I loose my hardware toggle with phonealarm. I've tried to hard reset the phone and still same problem. HELP!

For some reason PA seems to turn off the sound notifications in the settings menu. I bet if you check your settings, play sound is not checked under email notification. I think you need to turn it on every time you reset the phone. It is annoying, but I don't know how to make it stay on.

Goto Settings->Sounds & Notifications,

In Sounds tab, check Events, Programs, Notifications
In Notification tab, pull down menu Messaging: New e-mail message,
check Play sound and select the wav tune.

click ok and done
