Unfortunately issues with AS are not an exact science, they could be happening because of a firewall, because your cable is defective or simply because AS sucks!

My next recommendation would be to switch the USB mode on the device by executing UsbSwitch under Start Menu - Programs.

I can explore the Treo via the computer and add & remove programs. However it will not sync.

I'm running zone alarm but I turned it off and still will not work.

I turned the usb thing on last night still did not work?

What else can I do?

So the device communicated with the PC but it does not sync? Yikes first time I hear about this... do you get an error code? Have you tried a hard reset?

I even before activesync stopped working when I connect ppc to computer it drops wifi and lan connections. I uninstalled Zone Alarm Security Suite and still have the problems any ideas? This driving me crazy!!
