Does your video filmed on your 700wx look like this?
Just curious if anyone else gets footage like this when filming in 352x288?

If you're talking about the change in color/hues then the answer is yes for me. Mine though is not quite as jumpy/choppy.

Ah hah! Yes I was referring to the choppy video. So you don't get choppy video like this? Every video clip I film on my treo looks like this. Think it is defective?
|
Hmmmm...depends. If you hold the phone still take a vid of something that is moving do you get the same result? Additionally, the change in hue is due to not being able to set the white-level on the camera.

No matter if I hold it still or move it I get the same choppy choppy video. I thought it was just how the wx is made. My old 700p was alot smoother, seems I just might have a defective treo.

same thing on mine man...choppy no matter what resolution i shoot the video with
|
Mine too.
|
Mine too... :(
|
Mine is alot smoother than what you have shown.... But I was also moving the wx alot slower (even though that shouldn't matter since you are reporting that you have the same issue with a static P.O.V.)
How many programs do u have running at the time when you take a video? Might that tax the resources a little? Aside, in the smaller format, whatever the dimensions, I have a very smooth and consistent video with almost zero color changes. Try stopping all programs or your resource hogs before filming. Or reclaim some RAM with a memory cleaner...... |
Have you guys tried CoolCamera Its by ateksoft I couldn't post the link since i"m a new member It works real well on my Treo 700 WX and my Sprint PPC 6700
