Verizon Treo 700wx & the Threaded SMS App

I've been searching this forum for a couple of hours and still have a few questions. I installed the threaded sms app on my Verizon Treo 700wx and everything works except for the MMS feature. It returns a Not enough memory error so in order to send media messages I have to navigate to the Outlook style MMS mailbox.

I was wondering if a) an update to an AKU > 2.2 might fix the problem

and b) if someone could share the Network Settings for Verizon with me since the information in the app is for Sprint. I found mms. vtext. com /servlets / mms but not sure if that is correct. Does anyone have the message center number and the gateway info for Verizon.
