After I hang up with *2 my phone powers off and then on
 

I have noticed that every time I dial *2, when I hang up my phone will cycle the radio off and then back on. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

yeah i've noticed this too on mine. i exchanged mine in the store and my new does it. i tried it on 2 of my friends 700wx's and they all seem to do it. i just concluded it's every 700wx.

Yes, it basically does it because the phone is probably assuming you just updated the PRL. PRL updates are performed by calling *2.
