google and gps
 

i have goolge maps on my device....i was wondering if there is a way to have it work with gps. so i can get turn by turn and so on and so forth. i have visited many forums and faq, but have yet to find a direct answer...i hope one of you out there can help....

Yes google maps for WM5 is compatible with GPS devices.

It will not give you audible voice prompts, and some of the bells and whistles that come with a purchased program, but it will give you turn by turn directions based on location.

Also, google Nokia Smart2Go (i cant post the link, because of my user status) - which is a FREE app by Nokia. There is audible turn by turn directions, but I believe there is a fee to "unlock" that feature - I've yet to test it all out, but for mapping, what I've used, I like it.
