700wx Texting to Email
 

I searched but didn't find any current thread on this. Is there a way to send a text message to an email address. I am using a threaded SMS program that wont let me send to an email address. I thought my old SMS program would. I have the Palm 700WX from Sprint.

I may be missing the boat on this one, but I'm not sure that's possible. Email uses your data connection, while SMS uses your wireless connection. I do know that it's possible to send a text as an email, but not TO an email. This would be addressed as 818-555-1212@vtext.com (for VZW) and will appear on the recipient's phone as a SMS.

Yes it is possible.
Which threaded SMS txt program do you use? If it's SMS-Chat by VITO, if you send the txt with the default txt messaging system, it will then show up in SMS-Chat, but can't choose the e-mail address within SMS-Chat initially.

I can send to email using Cody's sms. Google it.

Pibe38 has this, it refers to picture mail but it does include some of the major carriers addresses
