WM5 Dialer causes loss of voicemail
 

So going in I knew full well I would lose my voicemail notification. But, I thought someone much smarter than I would have figured it out after all this time. Has anyone figured it out? I don't think phonealarm will work.

I was playing with the process to hack the WM5 dialer and realized which step appears to cause the loss of voicemail. From what I understand people have thought it was the activecall.dll or something similar. It actually appears to be the setting under hklm/security/phone/skin. In the hack it says to set the setting to 0. This from what I am assuming means it does not open the app associated with the skin. The app associated with the skin is "PhoneCanvasPlugIn.dll".

Anyone who is good at this please help. I think something could be done if this file could be deconstructed but I don't know how. Please help. I can't be the only person wondering about this. Thanks.
