New User general questions

I would like to know a couple of things please.

How do I delete mobitv from handango. when I try to, it keeps saying unable to delete.

How do you delete email accounts that have been set up?

How, or should I say what is the best way to do a backup? Is there a program that I need to use?

How can I clear up some of my main memory?

This may sound really dumb, but Im new to this, Do I need to get some kind of antivirus for my treo?

There is an AV for PPCs but it's really a waste of money since there are close to no virus out there for it.

How are you trying to delete MobiTV? Every program installed via Activesync or CAB should be uninstalled by going to Settings-System-Remove Programs.

To remove e-mail accounts from Pocket Outlook open it, click on Menu-Tools-Options. Then hold down the stylus on the account you want to delete, and the Delete option will pop up; click on it and you are done.

There 2 main backup programs available, Spb Backup and Sprite Backup. The 700wx comes with a complimentary copy of Sprite that can be downloaded from Palm's site.

To clear some of your main memory, besides uninstalling programs you don't use, get a program like SKTools and/or MemMaid to clear temp files, cache, cookies, history, etc. Also remember that if you have lots of e-mails with downloaded attachments on your Inbox, these occupy space. SKTools and MemMaid can also delete some of the old messaging files.

Question with Memaid/SKTools is one better than the other? Can we put them on our SD cards or are these programs that should be installed directly to our phone.

Uhmm I don't know about putting them on an SD card, I guess it'd be ok... I have them on main memory.

I personally feel SK Tools has more functions than MemMaid, MemMaid does have a smoother UI. I use both to be sincere...
