Is this a flash player or the Adobe flash plugin for PIE?

As of this time there is no way to watch YouTube through a mobile browser. YouTube recently released a mobile version of their site (check the News forum), however, the format of the videos is 3GP (usually used on regular mobile phones with Java browsers and WAP) and will not play with on WMP.

Pibe,
I am aware of the deal between Verizon and youtube. I guess I got my hopes when I read on Adobe's site that FPv7.0 will allow embedded Flash video to play with in PIE. If Flash video will not play using their update then they need to change the description to something a bit more accurate. Do you know of any sites that FP v.7.0 will allow embedded Flash video to play in PIE, or is it just youtube? |

I think it's an issue with versions, Flash player is up to version 9 and we only have version 7 on mobile devices. I guess you need version 9 to use YouTube.
I don't know if it's through Verizon, but I was talking about THIS mobile version of YouTube. There's an user that got the videos to work, but he doesn't know how |

What used to be called ITube, is now AresTube.
This allows you to download YouTube videos to your pc or Ipod. When downloaded to pc, it will convert to mpg. Then just add to your ppc. http://www.benjaminstrahs.com/itube.php

Yeah I've heard about those... but I think most users want to stream or watch through a Flash player so they don't have to download the videos to their devices.
I don't know, maybe it's just me... Thanks for the links! |

I have the new 6800 and the flash player allowed me to watch YouTube videos... granted its real choppy... like every 2 seconds it has a glitch. I've tried to change the quality to low or medium, but it wont load that way so I cant get the videos to stream correctly.
