Uncrippling Bluetooth????

So i get my computer up and running...sort of after a couple weeks plug in my bt dongle only to discover that vista wont recorgnize that its installed yet when i use the crappy bluesoleil drivers and software it works...i can pair my phone but really cant do anything else besides pair it actually it seems everything is crippled on the 700wx and that pisses me right the eff off!!!. i cant even get windows mobile device center to connect to the damn thing via bluetooth. i tried the hannip a2dp hack and quite frankly it didnt really serve a purpose for me. WHAT GIVES??? please tell me there's more to do other than pairing??? has anyone successfully gotten a usb bluetooth dongle to work with vista and if so how??????????????????????

Hi
I went to Compusa and got the Belkin BT dongle. It's 9 bucks after rebate and it works great. OR you can download the Toshiba BT stack which works with Vista but it expires after 30 days...Funny thing though is that it keeps working you just can't pair anything new. Existing pairings keep working. That is what I used before the license expired. If anyone can figure out how to get a license for it we are all set. I gave up and that is why I bought new BT dongle but it works great with Vista.

The whole issue is Vista I think... other users haven't even been able to pair the WX with a USB cable.

elephant posted a guide on how to use the WX as modem with Vista and posted some drivers, don't know if that'll work... there's a link on the FAQ sticky.

Not much you can due with BT.
1. Have a device use your phone as a modem and connect between it and your 700wx via BT.
2. You can use headphones and listen in stereo using A2DP.
3. You can also perform an Activesync via BT.
4. You maybe able to print as well, but I haven't seen any threads to see if it's possible or not.
