700wx Storage!?!?!
 

I have a 700 wx with windows mobile. under system and memory, it says storage: total 62.95, in use 53.08. free 9.87. how can i free up stuff that im not using or will not use. i don't wanna delete andything that i might need in order to use my phone. then under program total 57.45, in use 16.91, free 40.54. can someone please explain?

I would start with something like MemMaid or SKTools to clear out your temp internet files, cookies, etc. I suspect that's what is eating up your memory.

Both of those applications offer free trials...so check them out.

If that's not the problem then you can start moving a bunch of stuff over to your storage card. As a rule of thumb if it's a program that appears on your Today Screen then keep in stored in device memory. Everything else, (games, music, etc.) can go to your card.

had the same problem and used the free MemMaid trial and i had a ton of temp internet files that needed to be cleaned out which free'd up most the space that was being used.

Pictures are big memory eater as well, if you have a lot of pic, music, and ring tones stored in main memory try moving those to a storage card.

See i always make sure my temp files are deleted..but im gonna try that app. and no all my pics and music is on my 4g card.
