Using 700wx for internet use on my computer
Ok, I can't figure this out. There is a way for me to use my Treo, either by bluetooth or serial/USB cable, for the internet on my computer. How in the world do I do this? I am constantly traveling and this would make my life a lot easier. Any info is appreciated.

I used PDANET for mine. Works great on XP, was buggy on my Vista 64bit. It's not free but you can download a 14 day demo.

From what I can tell, if you can connect to activesync using bluetooth on your laptop you can use pdanet through it. (the physical connection isn't the limiting factor) but if you're on XP, you need to use activesync as it provides the basic connection over which pdanet runs.
I will warn you that connected to activsync through bluetooth, the battery is going to not last very long and bluetooth is a lot slower than USB2. |
